it's the Ford Cortina mk3 1.6L
awful to drive but looked cool as f*ck in the early 80's
mate of mine put a 2.8i engine in his and wondered why it sheared the propshaft drive bolts every time he floored it

Mate of mine at college had a Vauxhall Shoveit - was a right bag of shite. He wanted to change the colour from some dodgy brown to black and taking the mick we told him to use hammerite........ Yes the dumb :wank:

spent a whole weekend painting his car with hammerite (brush on!) and wondered why it looked worse than the brown :lmao:

. When he moaned about the finish we told him he should have used smoothrite instead :hysterical:

He never managed to get around to trying the smoothrite, his brakes failed on the way home one night and he ended up crashing into a branch of Boots. The Police turned up pretty dammed quick and arrested him on suspicion of ram-raiding the place for the drugs lol

He bought a C70 after that lol
