I've been playing with standard rates for a 66 tick server:

cl_updaterate 67
cl_cmdrate 67
rate 25000
cl_interp_ratio 0
cl_interp 0

Hit reg is still not fantastic and I was wondering if you guys know of any settings more optimal for our servers.
My computer has plenty power so I don't need to worry about little tweaks on that end unless they will help network performance.

TY in advance.

My opinion : "reg" is only an illusion, an excuse for the good players if they cant hit you and you can hit them.

But what you can try is changing your cl_interp, insert the value of your ping, devide by 1000 and round it. Ex ping of 40, devided by 1000 gives 0.04 -> So put cl_interp"0.04" in console.

:geek:

rates are so so tbh but lerp does seem to directly effect reg 0.04 interp seems to work well for me
you do have to also think that css hitboxes are shocking and old, ie a foot behind the player when running etc its how people can pull off those hits when your already around the corners, general rule i go for is if i see someone running past and round a corner, just keep on shooting where they were.

this is old and has been fixed a bit, but its still somewhat right

In general for interpolation you would want it as low as possible, as long as you're getting enough updates from the server and no data loss adjusting to suit your latency is needless.
