i get these pop-ups on my pc today, and i have no idea how it got here so weird..

scanned my pc with AVG ... found nothing.. anyone have a clue?

sounds dumb, but i'd try Avast , and scan it, also spybot S&D

a scan with just one AV software aint enough really, then, if they dont find anything, i would start worrying


actually, i remember summat similar, about 5 weeks ago. I kept getting links popping up over some words, sayying "click here" especially on the forums. It has stopped now, and i guess maybe a MS update has fixed it, or maybe avast has fixed it.
Try and run avast, and then update yer MS AV program....

Wouldn't hurt to put Malawarebytes Antimalware through it as well!

I actually installed pop up blocker or summat, that blocks upto 200 Google ads per day, then ya pay more for better protection.

My advice: go to => Start -> control panel -> uninstall a program and look in that list if you can find something that dont belong there.. i had the same issue after the mrs installed some shit some weeks back!

If I see suspect things i download HitmanPro and let it run. This program finds all the malware and stuff on the pc.

downloading another anti virus software wont do the trick i think.. didnt find any in my program and features, scanning with malaware now, if i dont find any i try with hitmanpro ... thx guys

HiJackThis also works wonders. Scans your entire computer for programs running on the background.

might be useful to have a links thread for stuff like this.
