 Post subject: Blue screen on my SSD

I bought a SSD a couple months back.. i had this issue with it ever since a bluescreen poppin up saying Interrupt Exception Not Handled whenever i try install games on it.. no idea how to fix it and i know some of you guys are better than me on this topic. Please help

maybe you have to do a reformat?

Another possible cause is that the SSD is connected to the wrong port.

On this example, the SDD needs to be connected on the white or grey connecting points. The owner used the blue one and this gave problems (corrupted files and bs)

i have scanned the drive for errors and it found nothing ..


thx i try open it tomorrow and see what the fuzz is all about.. thx skiron :)

have you defragged it?

DO NOT defrag SSD- this fooks em up big time cos the infrastructure is different, they can be formatted but not defragged.

check for the latest BIOS and low level chipset drivers

any error txt when BSOD?

Take a print screen and send it to Poundsey.. he seems to know what the h*** the BSOD txt means.. :p

we are defraggin ssd drives all the time flic =p dunno where ya get that from tho :coffee:

corect, SSD drives don't fragment,, no spinny disks inside them

you can actually defrag a SSD drive.. but the way they work you would reduce the lifespan of the drive.some SSD drives support Trim if so that would the option to go for.
