what headsets do you use.

I'm looking for a new set of headphones with mic,(ran over one's i have now with computer chair wheels :oops:

I am finiding it unfun when i stab neotax an he cannea hear me laugh my ass off, anyway what you guys think of the headphones?.

the review looks good as you can set every speaker to you're own preference, But is it just a waste spending as much on a set of headphones?. Are you just aswell with a pair from Tescos at 10 quid?.

I use a Skype headset mostly, it works amazingly well

I own a Logitech one but its the most uncomfortable piece of shite I've ever used, after half an hour my ears are numb and feel like jelly.

Dunno about any good headsets, but I tend to not care too much, I have 5.1 sound and me Skype ones seem to be built for that so screw it

i jus got a set of earphones from argos for 14 quid...they have been great so far but they jus about to snap cos i stood on them...on the note i'm off t get cellotape.

creative fatal1ty gaming headset, i use it with a creative x-fi fatal1ty platinum soundcard. i hear everything! which is just as well cause i see very little :shock:

i would say sound really does make a difference and a good headset can pinpoint someone reloading on a map.

Steelseries 5H, awesome gaming headset with high build quality and great mic too.
Tad pricey but worth it IMO.

never had problems with creative software, i used an audigy 2 before and it was great. the only prob with the xfi software is it wont convert rips etc to mp3, only wma. ive used them on all versions of wiindows with no probs. got a spare platinum champion series card and front panel if anyones looking for an upgrade
