Alright, i've finally done something wich i should have done ages ago.

I just removed Counter Strike Source completely from my Computer!!

I tried to get back and play again more active, but i just can't be bothered.

Lets face it, CS:S isn't the game what it was back when i started playing it.
- No matter what Server i join i can't be arsed to stay there longer than 30 mins
- There is NO Fun at all anymore
- Members are playing all over the Internet

Back when i started playing CS:S our GG Server was always crowded in the evenings with Clan Members, Friends of the Cland and Random Players who became our Friends cuz they liked the way we handled our Servers. Something has happened, but i obviously missed it.

I had Fun while playing CS:S back then when the Servers where full with SSDi and Friends.
- Lots of Banter
- Laughing via Microphone
- Admin Abuse
- Competitions
- Stats (always tried to get the guy on Top down there)

I remember the days when we were playing with guys like :
Serialkiller, Neotax, Strava, Mighty Red, Medusa, Bluntman and and and...
I don't know if it's just me but i think that was the best time on our Servers EVER.

Seems like Real Life has taken us now. We all seem to busy and stuff.

Also, one more important thing to me. I was proud as SK made me a Level 1 Admin and said the he trusts me so much. I love you buddy! Even tho, i guess it's time to make place for the new 'Era'... lol.

With this sentence, i want to step back from my position as a Level 1 Admin!!
I want to be handled as a normal SSDi Member.

I'm not a help with Server Problems anymore, i'm not even around on Steam anymore for a chat or something like that. And i'm not really active on Forums. I look into them every day tho, i just reply to those posts where i think i've gotta say something.

This Thread is mainly there to inform you guys about the Removal from CS:S from my PC.
And the fact that i stepped back from my Position in the Clan.

aww, not good Stefan, was on the DM server yesterday, was 18/20 slots taken, we had fun, admin abuse etc, yep, members are playing all over the internet and not together so much now. i miss it too. think about this, most clans have folded now, i first played CSS in 2003/4 i think, that a long time for a game to run, i had a look around some of the old clan sites, one of the biggest was twistedplay, 20 servers, 1000 registered users, no longer there now
its up to the others if they want to change your forum status to normal member, im happy to keep you as you are and i understand why you feel this way.
people move on, real life gets in the way, it has with me recently. i dont play every night, dont think any of us do now.

the best times are gone, i am sure about that lol, but i dont enjoy COD black-ops, GTA or any other game as much as i still enjoy CSS lol. when theres a full GG, which aint that often but it does happen about once a fortnight, thats still a laugh

I will try and make a promise to you guys here and now!
SSDi WILL ALWAYS BE, whether we play CSS, L4D, L4D2 or any other game,............ or no games at all, SSDi will always exist!

We must be the only clan where clan members have actually got tattoos on their bodies with their clan tags, that, at the time, made me so proud and realise what we made all those years ago, a place for friends who shared common interests, to go, maybe friends who never will even meet physically (although I hope to meet a few more of you before I die),..........

Thus these forums will hopefully be around for a good long time yet, as will I!

I can sypathise with what you're saying Stefan...for several of us also the game has lost it's fun factor and is becoming more and more a frustrating experience which is a great shame.

Anyway...I'm relieved to hear that you are staying...it would'nt be the same without you.

I can promise, that whatever happens, I'll stay as an SSDi member. The amount of good times I have had the past 3 years since I joined (I can't even remember when it was lol....must be atleast 3 years by now), and even before that when I wasn't in SSDi, is enough to make me never leave.

I'm sure you feel the same Stefan, so I'm pretty sure we'll see you around

The problem still is i've gotta sort out a shitload of stuff here first. My boss just made me the chief storekeeper (i used translator here lol).
So i got a shitload more work to do. That's why i wont be able to make it to the Paintball ( again )

But like i said before, it's a huge wish that i have. To visit you guys atleast once. And i'll do it someday.

I am of no help anymore. Not with servers nor with Forums.
It's kinda useless to have them if you are not using them.

People here know me and how i feel about the clan, i do think thats the most important thing.
To be a normal clan member is good enough to me.
