first of all don't tarnish an entire religion based on the acts of a tiny minority, not all Muslims are extremists, the qu'r'an isn't a manual for religious hate anyone who tells you otherwise is generally picking out parts and using them out of context to further an agenda.


Second of all technically speaking it isn't a mosque they want to build its a community centre for all religions to better further religious tolerance, it's even named after a period of time in Spain when it was a Muslim country but all the 4 major religions lived there without any of this racial hatred bullshit..

Also fun fact, currently they're renovating/rebuilding a synagogue in the middle of Beirut, which is in Lebanon, a country that's essentially been constantly at war for 40 odd years, so that's an arab democracy, with a Muslim prime minster and a Christian president allowing the rebuilding of a synagogue on what is essentially the Lebanese equivalent of ground zero, it's not a little pokey synagogue either its a giant "LOOK AT ME, LOOK HOW FUCKING GLORIOUS I AM YOU BASTARDS!!!" one.

I'm not one for tarnishing a religion based upon that actions of a minority but you can't get away from the fact that there is a 'holy' book that advocates the beating of women and the killing of non-believers.

I have a problem with ALL religions. The Bible contains these particular quotes on homosexuality:




Well that's really bloody tolerant, isn't it? The Islamic 'extremists' are probably the most devout out there. They follow their book line by line and when they read a verse that tells them to kill they go and bloody well do it but you don't see Christians killing gays in the streets - if they did 90% of the clergy would be dead by now.

All of the Abrahamic religions are bullshit and the world needs to wise up. FAST.

So there you go, I tarnish religions not based upon the actions of the minority of their followers, but by the very texts upon which they are based.

As with most things in life, it's how people interpret the meaning of what's written that causes trouble not what's actually written.

The thirst for power is the cause of all wars, it just so happens for most of the time humans have existed it's been religion where the real power lies, now it's mostly who controls the most resources like oil, water, minerals, metals etc

I agree, don't get me wrong there are still wars that are centred around religion but even they have a possesive air about them. Whether it be land, oil, weapons or even ideas, it all comes down to the need to control.
