I've always been open minded but with a sceptical approach to this kind of thing until I got involved with a spiritual healing group a few years ago. I saw some fucking weird shit, I kid you not. I cannot dismiss ghosts and the such any more after what went on in the house where we met. I never wanted to 'believe' like some people do but I had some experiences that cannot be rationalised and have to be accepted or leave you mental.
