Hello Ssdi and others i am in need of some advise/help quickly
everytime some rings the house phone the internet disconnects ive been looking all over the net and asking people i got told mabe change the dsl filter i tried that and nothing, any suggestions?

Yeah looks like a micro-filter problem. How many phones have you got on the line? Have you got any other devices (Sky box etc)? You should have one micro-filter for each device on the phone line unless you split the line at the filter or elsewhere.

yes i have a phone line but, in my dsl filter i dont have a phone going into it should i have?

No - Look at you master phone socket.

If you have a splitter in it, you should have one micro filter each side of the splitter - one for the phone, one for the router

Can you follow all devices back to the master socket and figure out what is plugged into what?

Last time this happened to me it was a problem at the exchange!
