Hey guys ive downloaded half life 2 episode 2 but it doesnt work i have downloaded directx whats needed to play this game and i have installed it but it still says i needed a minimal of directX 8...
Also if i start up the hl normal and i press start game then select the first part it wont react

have you tried just using dirext x 9.c?

Make sure your video and sound drivers are up to date and run a Windows Update (Custom, not Express) to make sure you have the latest directx for your OS.

kane had sommit about directx that wouldn,t let him play ahm sure it was mike that helped him, but kane will tell you wot helped him maybe help you.

Yeah but now i know i have it cuz thats what my pc says i have de newest directx but hl2 episode 2 says i dont...

you downloaded HL2 from utorrent?
