who's got one?? lol

anyone got their wii chipped, i was a bit nervious about that, but i see there's a software for the wii now that lets you play burned disks, anyone got it by chance?

i have wii but thought it was a bit risky to get chipped or any other things so i just get my mum to buy games :lol:

i had a wii and it was chipped, tbh i would have kicked myself in the face ive id bought some of the games that i had downloaded for it :lol: but yea some games are alright i suppose. ill stick to my 360 now though

you can now get the wii chipped for £10, it dont even need to have the wii flashed now, uses a sd card which can be removed when you need it returned to original.
games sold here for £2 a game, last time i looked it had 600+ games on the list

i have no idea how it works lol. we got a Wii but i never used it. my youngest has it and plays it now and again but its not chipped.
i know a guy locally who does them for £10. you get a SD card and whatever games you want for £2 each. if anyones interested ill make some inquiries

Last wii system update added support for USB and the ability to run Virtual console games from an SD card as well as moving channels to and from the SD card, some hackers found an exploit in the SD card side of the update which enables the wii to run unsigned code and get softmodded :)


I softmodded mine myself :) Added a few homebrew channels including backup launcher and voila, i can download and play games myself :D


the process is like 10 minutes long and the files to softmod are like 80mb or something :p
