I think you will lag badly,(if you get a signal atall) even using a mobile phone at sea is shit, most time i get no signal, an i don,t go to far out, i can always see land. best luck tho.

Mobile broadband requires 3G network coverage to run at full speed, otherwise your down at bugger all kbps.
Somehow I don't think that the admiralty have hooked that up for you!
Even in a 3G area, I doubt very much if you will be able to play, the lag will be seriously horrendous.
Wireless networks aren't designed to carry to data type used by games.
