Ok, just finished a sausage butty with some of my homemade curry sauce poured on it lol.
As we got quite a diverse community on here, just thought it would be nice for you all to share some of yer favourite homemade recipes (bet yer all on f*kk*n kee-babz n take-aways) and maybe i'll try one of yours over the next week, my personal favourites are: a mint prawn curry (friends grandads recipe) homemade curry, tune pasta bake, and spag boll !
btw frech recipes all the more welcome, coz yer supposed to be L337 at cookin :P

Recipe for minty prawn curry, it aint too spicey and if ya want it less spicey just dont add chilli powder but i would say it isnt near madras strength, so here it is :

ingredients for 4 people :

1 tbls dried corriander
1 tbls cumin powder
1 tbls garamasala
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp dried mint
2 tsp tomatoe puree
1 small pot of single cream
1/2 pint of milk
4 cloves of garlic
1 thunmb sized piece of ginger
2 medium sized onions
1 tblsp of mint sauce in vinigar
1 or 2 bags of prawns, depends how much ya like :)

Method:
Dice and fry onions in about 1/4 cup full of oil, crush garlic and ginger and add that and fry for 5 mins.
Add half of the milk, mix up spices, add them and fry for a further 5 mins.
Add rest of milk and tomatoe puree, then fry for a further 5 mins.
Now add cream and simmer for a further 5 mins.
Then add mint sauce and finally add yer prawns :P
let em heat through for approx 3-5 minutes and its ready to serve :)
one of the best curries i ever had tbh lool, and its soo different
