hey all, been a while since i have been on here, been a busy bee with the business and getting a shop sorted out along with the normal life bollocks :) hope all is well, haven't meant to be a bit of a ghost but missing you all a lot, hopefully be getting a new pc system soon which i an not wait for as it beats the piece of crap i am currently running.

Have you heard about the new steam developments recently?? What are peoples thoughts and views on the prospects of these great addition to the gaming world from steam?

Here is information on the Steam Controller. The damn thing looks epic and a totally new way to game, i would love to see how thing compare to the standard analog sticks you find on the Playstation and Xbox controllers. I think it will be much better and more precise bringing a new standard in the gaming world!

the idea of the scoll pad thingy looks like a good idea, i find my thumbs running off a ps4/xbox analogue stick by having to physically push the sticks side to side. But i must say i can only play racing games with sticks tbh, the likes of Portal and other FPS' etc are a no-no for me, i find aiming really hard :/

Know all too well what your saying there man, total nightmare trying to aim and always having your thumbs falling off the sticks. Very innovative idea from Steam, can't wait to try it out as i think it will make a number of games more playable from my point of view being an old skool keyboard and mouse gamer. Only games i generally play with controllers are driving games and the classic side screen beat em ups anything else has to be keyboard and mouse.

I know, i had read about it but didn't have the page open so i could link it in. Looks very interesting as a whole package, steam really have thought long and hard about everything they are planning on doing, next thing we need is a release date for HL3.

By the time they release HL3 I'll be so old my eyes won't work and I'll be so arthritic I can't hold the steam controller!
