I play deathmatch a lot as some of you may have noticed and I think the inclusion of the auto snipers is not needed. Some players use these weapons at random (Random Weapons Every Time) this doesn't bother me but when they use it consistently and even though I'm raping them with my M4 in close combat they camp spawn and its bangbang after SP goes and I'm dead again. Have SSD-i any plans to remove them? I have seen the "noobsnipers"/"autofags" annoy other players. I dont see why I should drop points and ranks just because I took the liberty to pick FAMAS over autosniper? The weapons are easy to use, too easy. I used to use them a lot but I taught myself how to shoot straight with an AK and an M4 so it can't be that hard for others? (if I can do it ANYONE can!)

This isn't me trolling or complaining (that's arguable...) but it's an observation I made over the last few days

I totally agree with your comments.

This subject has cropped up before but due to some members arguing to keep the autosniper (some of whom I might add hardly ever play on the DM server ) the idea of removing it was dropped.

Yes, i once started a Thread like this and as Enigma already mentioned, we hat a little arguing about it.

My personal opinion is to remove it and i guess that won't change that soon. I would even like to have the AWP back instead of the Auto Sniper.

think I'd rather agree with kane here.. put awp back (infact, would be nice to have all the weapons ingame), but just put them at the end of the list or something. there are enough small maps where m4 or ak are alot better than snipers

Agree with the awp atleast thats a real sniper :p , but still i dont see the problem if they use the auto if they dont camp.. its easy to cover one spot with it but not when your on the move... So ban the campers instead..

Well its a sniper its suppose to be 1 shot 1 kill ... But yeah scout is fun aswell

all snipers require different tactics imho. scout can be shot on the move, awp is less suited for that. autosnipers are best standing frozen, but you get recoil troubles. please give all
