Morning all. I'm going to start my own IT support/consultancy business aimed at home users and small businesses but can't decide on the name.
Any chance you could vote on my choices? My Mrs is arguing because she's struggling with a logo for my preference.

TY

voted, you guna quit yer job then in time ? or is it gunna be an out of hours home job thingy ? Coz if yer teh big dog at yer works, yer probably better off there lol, a lot of people to compete with now, so hard to get a good client base. Not trying to sound negative, ya no doubt have looked at em all already, i was just wondering if ya going self employed etc, or just doing it as a second job :)

Good Luck ;) :ok:

Double Penetration? :P

You'd probably best off going for ... Computers, instead of Technology. I'm only speaking for myself but Technology sounds just too advanced for an IT-support business

What does DP stand for anyway?

Edit: Lol, that sounded like me being a dick, I wasn't trying to :D

I'm intending to run it as a second job and see what happens. If I get to the point where I'm having to turn down work then I'll see if I can reduce my hours at work and hopefully one day just work for myself. Figured doing it this way would be the least riskiest way to get there.

Lol Sammy! DP is just my initials. When I was at uni my login account for the network was dp3. Since then whenever I am renaming files whilst working on a problem, rather than changing the file extension to .old I always end up using .dp3 - it kind of stuck! There's probably several hundred machines scattered around the country with .dp3 files and dp3 folders in there somewhere now. Understand about the computers vs technology thing but if I can, I'm quite up for getting into the home automation business as well and also some web application development work. Decisions!!!

I voted for stealths mum. But serious answer DP Computers, although DP3 Computers to the tune of the advert where it goes "do de-de-dum de-de-de de-de-dum, DP3 Computers" sounds good, but I can't remember what it is :P
