What's the make/model of router?

Default username and password are 'admin' and '1234'.

To reset it you have to hold the reset button for about 10 seconds until the power LED starts blinking, then it will reboot.
BUT this resets the whole thing to factory defaults so you might want to check to find out if there are any custom configuration options first and make a note of them (like the settings for the wireless lan).

Oh by the way, I know that with some Zyxel routers it is possible to recover the password by decrypting the configuration file. Do you have a copy of the current config saved to disk anywhere?

have to check in what way we are connected to mom n' dads company first. Might reset it after I've checked that. Also since I've always got problem with my connection maybe we'll buy a new router.... Already bought 2 modems and it didn't sort it...

And noo, I ahve no config thingy... Computer @ home has been formated about 20 times since we bought it, so hardly find it there.... The only guys I think might have it is a it company namned SYSteam.. They sorted it all, so they might have it...

Have you tried SYSteam as the password?

Nothing like that, mum choosed something similar as our wlan key.... But ofc she don't remember.. She wrote it on a post it and now it's gone
