SPIDER...anyone know what it is??!!

I have that spider in my garden. Its venom is the source of Extasy pills. If you get bitten you'll get multiple.... So no worries youre safe

zoo didnt get back to me, but i identified it myself.

the first smaller spider appears to be a window spider. harmless.

but the other turned out to be a "false widow". exactly the same as a proper widow spider only it doesnt have the red hourglass on its abdomen. it is the most venomous spider native to the UK. Although its bite is venomous it is no worse than a wasp bite. however, if your body reacts to it it may hospitalise you. they are very common in the portsmouth area.

oh i just saw this post and yikers i remember me being young i was messing about with a spider on its web it must have thought i was a meal it gave me a bite but it was a common winter spider that is harmless that day i became afraid of em haha as it wouldnt let go as i had to wave my hand haha
