i dont know how i done it but while getting rid of windows 8 i manage to close my old email linked to my steam account
make a new one but lost all my friends games and links as well

Coops, Contact Steam, they can sort that out for you. You'll have to prove its your account (by providing them the steam keys (Photos of CD's) to get the account back. its a nightmare, happened to me once before.

Well after speaking to him in the server earlier, he's bought all his games again, and wants to delete that account if he gets it back... let's get him to give it away or something! :D
