there seems to have been some sort of confusion as to why i said i quit.

heres the explanation:-

i left because of the things that happened with Tim, Synergy and Joe. I was brought into this clan on the understanding it was more of a community than a clan. can someone correct me on which of these SSDi are?

If it was a community you would be less bothered about when people are online or offline or if they use tags on other servers.

If it was a clan you would be bothered about the above things. so i guess i answered my own question.

I dont agree that synergy was poaching because he wasnt on SSDi server at the time. ALTHOUGH i can see where you are coming from, again if you was a community you wouldnt be bothered.

just so it is clear I did NOT want to leave SSDi and before the results of recent actions i had no intentions of. as i have just been saying to missy...

in RL im stupidly depressed at the moment and im going through a bad patch. 2 of my friends have hung themselves with in the last month... SSDi was my paradise, my getaway if you will. because everyone here i enjoy having a laugh with and enjoy playing with.

I now feel lost and dont know what to do.. people think that because i left SSDi in light of recent actions im going to go join Synergy and Joe, who i agree, wont last long with a server (sorry guys but its true, servers cost a bomb these days) IM NOT. im not joining anyone. because of whats happened ive been suppressed to loneliness..


i shall still be on the server, if im not banned by tonight.

lol ben no one gonna ban..unless stealths had a few beers....and abuses his admin as usual...just cos you don't agree with a situation, how it was handled how the punishment was brought about doesn't mean you leave the clan/community.

If everyone here left cos they disagreed with something then there would be neh one here.... If you think something is not right you make a post and discuss it....


SSdi is a clan.. but as we don't do matches or anything like that it's more of a community. Some people leave for weeks,months years and still return...


Because well friends here ,have fun,a laugh. and ban stealth a lot...

this is a clan that is changing to more of a community, admins are voted for here.
if you find you dont agree with how things are, you are entitled to voice your oppinion and you have done so.
the basis of everyones arguement is
if your a clan, then this and if your a community then that.
we are SSDi, we go with what our members want. this has happened before with M&I and BW.
we generally discuss what is happening and share it with the members.
you are entitiled not to agree with anything, you know this was happening and didnt feel strong enough to share that with us until the "I quit" post
im sorry that things are rough in real life, we tend to help eachother through bad patches, a lot of us have been there and i could not thank SSDi enough for the help and support i have had over the last 2 years.
personally, i dont want anyone to leave SSDi but we cant please everyone all the time.
you will never be banned from the servers unless you break the rules Ben. that is the reason why our server is always busy, we worked hard at keeping it a fun place to play and relax.
we will be here for many years to come and you will always be welcome

Always sorry to see another good member leave, the reasons are a little amiss for me though, real life issues fair enough, sticking up for a couple of dudes who are wanting to make a new server and poach a few regulars is another. Oh well life goes on, SSDi goes on.

We advertise "we more a community than a clan" to try and advertise that we aint here to play wars/matches, nor are we full of leet CSS players, we dont even play css that much as a group, but we do play from time to time, and it is more of a community............. if ya wanna join a CSS CLAN go and sign up with a REAL CLAN... with wars, strategy training sessions, ED CSS leagues etc...... And for that reason, we dont wanna give Clan Tags to the next person who walks in here and loves CSS......... we aint about that, hence the fact we don't like people being in SSDI (means yer part of the devoted team) and other clans.... if someone wants to be in loads of clan n groups, go join em.... hope they are enjoying what they do, we are just here for a chat more than anything

yeah i disagreed with the handling of Joe, Synergy and Tim but that was because i saw it as: if your on the server A LOT and the forums and just in general you become family... no matter how you see it Synergy kind of helped the server, because he invited 100% loyal players to SSDi, people who would come back.

I don't know about everyone else, but i play quite a lot on CSS, my first port of call is SSDi (wearing the tags or not), second FTH because of the friendly players and also friends of SSDi, my third is now JRG, welcome to SSDi or not i will always consider Joe and Synergy as family.

at the end of the day we play for fun. its a game. but we all look out for one another.
*one last thing, i never got chance to say, Wavy Davie: i really hope you get better soon mate. i wish you all the best and still hope to catch you on the server every now and then (imagine computer as SSDi).
