lookin for one of this to get more space on my desk, but cant find one that suits my needs, if anyone can help?
what i need is 2 PC linked to it, with DVI display, USB for mouse and keyboard, and optical audio
so far I havn't seen any that got both

To be honest mate I think you will need a separate TosLink switch to do your digital audio.
I've found one that carries 7.1 audio, but only via the 3.5mm jacks, not optical.

i used one before, they dont work so well with usb mice/keyboards. was maybe 6 or 7 years ago when i had it so might be better now

thx, Ill have a look and see if i can use jacks instead of optical or else Ill just go for optical switch or something
Im using a VSX415 ampli with 5.1 speakers

didn know about KVMs since 2 weeks ago, we have it on new work equipements, thought would help me,
basically i have 2 PC running with 2 screens 2 keyboards 2 mice etc..., 1 is for games and watching movies (24" screen), the 2nd is basically a "external" HDD Iuse for downloads and storing, I use LAN to access files i watch on main PC.

I could go without audio switch if I keep using LAN to watch movies, but I could have each one dedicated to its own purpose (1 gaming only and 1 for D/L and movie player + internet) with a "full" switch
