The IBM Roadrunner Supercomputer uses the Cell processors that were developed by IBM and Sony for the PS3 in conjunction with AMD Opterons (basically a server spec Athlon 64) and is curently ranked number 2 in the top 500 fastest supercomputer list. It was number 1 for ages and should regain it's position next year.

It's a beast, 12960 Cell processors and 6480 Opteron processors and uses 2.5 million watts of electricity (!!!!!).
