i make my picture small enough but then the file size is too big any ideas guys?

you can change the filesize and dimensions in paint.
reduce the width or height (whichever is the larger) to 150 pixels and make sure you have "maintain aspect ratio" ticked.

try as wavy suggested and also reduce the pixel count :-


set pixel count to 72 first
then reduce the image size
