Really Breathtaking stuff.

Its sad to think that the radiation in Chernobyl will be around for the next 48,000 years or so. Its slightly better to think that people can begin living there again in about 600 years.

The ares is surrounded by armed guards and has become a "Dead Zone".

The best (or worst) part for me was seeing the Hotel and the funfair. Its amazing how well they replicated this in Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.

thats IF the current sarcophagus holds up until they put the planned one up, there's alot of people who think it might collapse... and thats not good at all for a large area around chernobyl/prypiat.

id love to go on a tour there one day :)

as for the accuracy of infinity wards reproduction, they took a number of tours there doing research :p, i remember reading a forum post from a guy whos parents were from the town of prypiat and they told him when he was playing COD4 online, that he was stood in their old home, how surreal is that? lol

I remember watching this episode of eurogamer tv and the place looks ghostly, I remember thinking while I was watching it that I would love to go on a tour to get a sense of what it feels like in the flesh. It's mental. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V1yBpVzJ9pQ
