i had the same issues it the sata lead to my hdd i give it a wiggle and all works fine for a couple of weeks

I used to work as a board jockey, AKA PC Field Service Engineer

I'd say about 75% of the dead PC's that I ever looked at were fixed with a good old clean and reseat.

Glad you're up and running again dude.
