lol i actually started making a website for a wrought iron company that i worked for before. I would recomend using something like frontpage to learn and advance onto something a bit more technical
so, lemme get this right, ya write it all in code ? ya dont colour shit in , or add text as such, its all in code, then when ya "RUN IT" it displays a web page ?

I would recommend some basic code before just using a program for it. You can make a simple website with just few images and a little bit HTML.
There's some step by step tutorials and you can browse the others from the left side panel. Also it is fairly easy to use the sample codes just on the notepad and then saving the file as .html Actually every sample on that site has the button "Try it yourself" and that shows you the result of saving that particular code as .html
Just start it small without having great plans for a website right away.

If there isn't need for the webshop then that website wouldn't be too hard to make. Of course simple websites don't cost too much either since just the hosting costs some bit.
Btw CJ I don't want to be rude but the text on the info pages are a bit messy and I would put the post and pricing info on it's own "order info" page. This being if I'd look at it from customer's view. Could propably be made more clear with few small touches.
